As many of you may know, I currently serve as the Creative Director of the mental health awareness non-profit the Strong Mind Project. Our inaugural event is coming up in just under two weeks and I am currently attempting to advertise it through all means at my disposal. Mental health awareness is an incredibly worthy cause, and our focus with this showcase was to find films that align with the theme of “making the invisible visible.” The myriad ways these artists were able to visualize internal struggles and depict visceral, immersive portrayals of a diverse array of subject matters is nothing short of inspiring.
